Recently there has been much talk and interest towards the news filtered out of London that two of the biggest iconic music superstars, the King of Pop Michael Jackson and the lead singer from the rock group Queen, the enigmatic, extroverted Freddie Mercury recorded a bunch of songs together. The truth of the matter is back in 1983, they actually recorded just two songs.

The biggest buzz is being generated around 'There Is More To Life Than This' (an ironic title as both singers are sadly no longer with us), written by Mercury. The intention being that this very Queen sounding ballad is being remixed and remastered by the band with a view to it being released to the public. Whether this happens or not is up to the Jackson Estate who issued a statement, "We are aware that Queen is working on the track. But no decision has been made about releasing it. We'll consider it after we hear it."

The other track recorded by the legendary duo I doubt will ever officially see the light of day. Jackson and Mercury did a demo for 'State Of Shock', written by Jackson. This song was eventually recorded and released in 1984 with Rolling Stones front man Mick Jagger and appeared on The Jacksons 'Victory' album. What is so fascinating is the fact although the discovery of these tracks is being treated as groundbreaking news, in reality the songs have been up on youtube for years and already been seen by a substantial amount of people, presumably hard core fans of both entertainers. Here is your chance to check out their joint efforts.
